Mug of Grog is a Food Displays decoration in Windrose, a filled tankard placed on a table or shelf to add a lived-in touch to a captain's quarters. Like every comfort decoration it counts toward base comfort only while it sits within range of a lit Bonfire.

In-Game Description

A bit of grog to warm up after a long voyage.

The flavour text nods to Grog, the family of rare buff drinks brewed elsewhere on the base. The mug here is purely decorative and grants no buff itself; it is the table-dressing version of the real thing.

Comfort

Mug of Grog contributes +1 comfort in the Kitchen category. Comfort bonuses within a single category do not stack, so a second Kitchen display of the same tier adds nothing; spread different categories around a room to raise the overall Comfort System rating that drives crafting and rest bonuses.

Tips

• Keep the mug inside Bonfire range; a Food Display placed outside the warmth radius contributes no comfort at all.

• The Decoration: Hearty Meal Set plan unlocks several kitchen pieces at once, so unlocking it for the mug also opens its set-mates.

• Each Rum Bottle spent here is one not brewed into a combat Grog; build a small stockpile before decorating so you are not short on the buff version.
