A large roof made of leaves at a shallow 26 degree pitch. It is the wide variant of Roof (Leaves), covering twice the span in a single placement so you can cap a broad hut with fewer pieces. The leaf roof set is one of the earliest roofing options in Windrose and unlocks at the start of the game.

Leaf Roof Set

The leaf roof pieces all share 500 max health and are taught by Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls. A peaked roof is built from flat panels capped along the top by ridge pieces, with corner pieces closing the gable ends. The full set pairs with the matching Wall (Bark) pieces for a complete early shelter.

Function and Placement

Large Roof (Leaves) snaps to the top edge of a wall or onto an adjacent roof panel in the same building grid. Because it covers a wide span at once, it is the efficient choice for the broad single-room huts you raise before the Foothills biome opens. Pair the panels with Roof Ridge (Leaves) along the peak to close the seam left at the top of a pitched roof, and use Roof Corner (Leaves) at the gable ends. Leaf roofs share the 500 health of the earliest tier and should be upgraded to clay or stone roofing once those materials are available.
