Large Pillar (Sticks) is a tall load-bearing column in the Pillars and Beams set, built from woven Plant Fiber. A large pillar spans the height of two standard wall courses, so it is the piece you reach for when raising open halls, two-story frames, or roof spans that need clear floor space underneath. Like every pillar it snaps to floor corners and carries the structure above it up to roof level.

The Sticks tier is one of the first building materials available and unlocks without a recipe at the start of a save, which makes Large Pillar (Sticks) a cheap early option while you gather sturdier materials. The matching standard-height column is Pillar (Sticks), and the same plan family carries the heavier Large Pillar (Timber) and Large Pillar (Weathered) upgrades once you have looted their plans.

Tips

• Place a Foundation or Floor first, then snap the pillar to a corner; vertical pieces only attach to a ground layer.

• Hold the place button and walk to drag-build a row of identical pillars in one motion instead of stamping them one at a time.

• When demolishing, remove upper pieces before the pillars beneath them; the structural system collapses anything that loses its support.
