A large floor section made of mahogany

Mahogany is the top wooden tier for floors, giving this large section 1,500 max health for only three Wood. That is double the durability of the stick and plank versions at the same footprint, so it is the wooden floor most players settle on once they have a steady supply of timber. It snaps onto pillars and walls like every other floor and forms the walkable surface of a deck or storey.

Progression Notes

This piece is placed during base building using the construction hammer, after you have learned its plan and gathered the listed materials. As one of the lighter building pieces, it is quick and cheap to put down, which makes it useful for early shelters and for blocking out a layout before you commit to sturdier materials.
