Every harvest from a grown Healing Herb Sapling refunds 1 Healing Herb Seed, creating a renewable loop. Wild Healing Herbs drop seeds rarely or not at all; container chests in the Ancient Ruins provide the starter stock.
Harvested Saplings also return the seed used, so once a player has one seed the loop is self-sustaining.

Because the potion is the most reliable mid-fight heal in the early game, keeping at least one Seedbed slot dedicated to Healing Herbs is a common base setup. A few stacked Saplings comfortably cover a co-op crew of up to eight players.
