Gunroom Grog is the reload-speed member of the Windrose grog family. It is the specialist pick for cannon duels where a faster reload cadence turns into a raw damage advantage at the broadside rail. Like every grog, it occupies the drink buff slot and stacks on top of food and Elixirs.

Whiskey is the bottleneck here: it is Epic-rarity and needs trading or rare loot. Cayenne Pepper is farmable on the starter islands and widely sold. Rum Bottle is the easiest of the three to stockpile.

When To Use

• Sloop vs Sloop cannon duels: reload speed decides which side gets the second volley off first

• Chasing a slower ship: when the enemy is already committed and you need sustained broadside uptime

• Ranged PvE: musket and pistol builds also benefit from reload speed in on-foot fights where the buff applies
