The Double Door is a wide, two-leaf building piece in the Doors and Doorways category. It fills a doorway opening two tiles wide, so it suits the main entrance of a base or the front of a larger hall rather than a narrow side passage. The semi-arched frame is finished in plaster and matches the late-game stained glass building set.

Overview
Doors are placed into a doorway slot in a Walls segment. A door blocks line of sight and movement while letting you pass through, which keeps a base sealed against wildlife and hostile raiders between trips. The Double Door covers a double-width opening in one piece, so you do not need to frame two single doorways side by side.
Like other doors, the Double Door takes its durability from the doorway it sits in. Reinforcing the surrounding Wall (Plaster) line, and upgrading the wall material toward Stone, raises the effective defense of the entrance. The plaster Double Door is a cosmetic and structural tier of the same opening, chosen to match a plaster and stained glass build.

The Double Door is cheap to raise once you have the plan: a single stack of Wood and a one second build timer. Keep a small reserve of Wood at the base so damaged doors can be rebuilt quickly after a raid.
