A fireplace where burning logs whisper tales of storms, reefs, and stolen rum.
The Chimney Cap is the top piece of a modular Fireplaces assembly. Chimney sections stack upward through the ceiling and are finished with the Chimney Cap at roof level, so it is the visible top of the flue rather than a standalone hearth. The fireplace as a whole is decorative; it reads as a visual heat source in a room but does not provide a survival warmth stat.
Works only within the Bonfire range, the same circular settlement radius that governs most placed structures and stations.
Comfort +2 Comfort bonuses in this category do not stack.
The Comfort it grants feeds the Comfort System. Because the bonus does not stack within the fireplace category, only one fireplace piece counts toward Comfort at a time, so building several hearth pieces is for looks, not for a larger bonus.
