Bulletstorm is a Tier 2 talent in the Marksman branch of the Windrose Talent System. It grants a stacking damage bonus for consecutive ranged hits landed without missing. Each hit on target adds a stack, the stacks cap at four, and the bonus is reapplied to every shot for as long as the chain is unbroken. At rank 3 with a full stack the fifth shot in a chain deals a +36% bonus.

Rank 2 | +7% per stack | +28% |
Rank 3 | +9% per stack | +36% |
The first shot in a fresh chain lands at base damage and grants the first stack. Each landed hit after that both benefits from the stacks already built and adds one more, up to the four-stack cap. Because the cap is four, the bonus reaches its ceiling on the fifth shot of an unbroken chain and holds there for every subsequent hit. The talent only counts hits that connect: a shot that misses the target adds no stack and clears the existing ones.
Considered one of the largest sustained damage gains available to a ranged build, so most Marksman loadouts max it at 3/3. It is strongest for Pistol and Musket burst rotations where a player can keep landing single, aimed shots. It is situational for the Blunderbuss because the multi-pellet spread makes the definition of a single consecutive hit ambiguous.
Quick Hand, faster reload keeps the chain going so stacks do not lapse between shots.
Deadly Hunter, a separate ranged multiplier that compounds with the Bulletstorm stacks.
Sniper's Focus, rewards the same patient, accurate fire that Bulletstorm depends on.
The Marksman Set armor, which reinforces a dedicated firearm build.
Bulletstorm is the rapid-fire specialist of the Marksman tree. The four-stack cap rewards a sustained Pistol or Musket sequence against a single priority target, so it shines in boss fights where the player commits to a long, uninterrupted string of hits. In a typical maxed Marksman allocation it sits alongside Bull's Eye at 3/3 (this article links to the Marksman overview for the full recommended spread), with the branch's higher tiers adding range, reload speed, and overpenetration so shots can pass through multiple targets.
A Pistol boss rotation firing 5 consecutive hits without a miss at rank 3: shot 1 is 100%, shot 2 is 109% (+9%), shot 3 is 118% (+18%), shot 4 is 127% (+27%), shot 5 is 136% (+36%). The 5th shot and every subsequent hit at full stacks deals the +36% bonus for as long as the chain holds.
Stacks fall off on a missed shot or a swap to melee. Maintain continuous fire to hold them.
Does not pair well with the Blunderbuss, where multi-pellet spread makes the definition of a consecutive hit ambiguous.
Talent points can be reset at any time, so a hybrid build can drop Bulletstorm via a free respec if it switches away from single-shot firearms.
