Broadcloth is a cloth material that appears in some community wikis and legacy tips for Windrose, but it cannot be located in the current launch build. An exhaustive crawl of the item database at build 0.10.0.3.104 (the active launch-week version) found no live Broadcloth entry, no recipe that produces Broadcloth, and no recipe that consumes Broadcloth.

Why the Article Exists

Earlier community guides and some fan-wiki pages tagged Broadcloth as a Common resource, Item Level 4. Those claims appear to be outdated. The live Item Level system for Common resources in 0.10.0.3.104 uses Level 1 across the board; Level 4 is not used at the Common tier. Broadcloth may be a legacy asset from a pre-launch build, a confirmed placeholder for future content, or a name that was renamed during development.

What to Use Instead

For cloth production in the current launch build, the standard materials are:

• Coarse Fabric - base Common tier, 3 Plant Fiber to 1 Coarse Fabric at the Workbench.

• Linen Fabric - Uncommon tier, 3 Flax Fiber to 1 Linen Fabric at the Spinning Wheel (30 second craft).

• Tarred Fabric - water-resistant tier, 1 Linen Fabric + 1 Tar to 1 Tarred Fabric at the Tanning Rack.

• Fabric Arborum - Enchanted tier, 1 Linen Fabric + 1 Essence Arborum + 1 Tar at the Enchanting Table (45 second craft).
