Banana Seeds is a Common-tier seed in Windrose used to grow Banana. Seeds plant at a Seedbed with a roughly 1-hour real-time growth cycle, and every harvest refunds 1 seed to keep the loop renewable.

Roughly 20% chance per wild Banana harvest in the Coastal Jungle.
Food Merchant (Merchant: Food) sells Banana Seeds once the Coastal Jungle threat is cleared, giving a buy option if your harvest luck is poor.
Harvesting a Banana Sapling also returns the seed used, so once you own a single seed the loop is self-sustaining.
Per harvest yield: 2 to 3 Bananas plus 1 Banana Seed per Banana Sapling harvest, so the crop pays for itself in seeds while still turning a surplus of fruit.
The Banana Sapling uses a 1-hour real-time growth cycle shared across every crop in Windrose. Crops keep growing while the game is closed. There is no watering, no fertilizer, no sunlight rule, and no wilt state, so a seedbed left alone is simply ready when you return.
Place the seed in a Seedbed (built from 5 Fertile Soil, with four planting slots at the corners). Seedbeds unlock after defeating the Coastal Jungle boss Thomas Richards and mining Fertile Soil from the Ancient Farm ruins in the Foothills.

The confirmed item page still reads "grows only on the ground" but the current Sapling building enforces seedbed-only placement. The Sapling page reflects current behavior; the item-page note is a historical artifact.

For large banana supplies, the Farming Contractor on Tortuga can run seedbeds in the background, and the wider Farming System page explains how the seedbed loop scales once you have spare Fertile Soil. Because each harvest refunds a seed, the only ongoing cost of a banana plot is the time between cycles.
Banana Seeds should be evaluated by what it unlocks, sells, or refines. Use the station and output rows to connect it to the larger production chain, then follow the linked material and recipe pages before spending currency or building resources.
