The Arched Canopy is a wall-mounted Canopies piece woven from sticks. Canopies are light shade fittings that sit above doors, balconies, and walkways: they do not block projectiles or weather, but they soften a wall's silhouette and frame an entrance. This is one of the cheapest canopies in the game, costing only Wood x5 and building in 1 second, which makes it an easy early decoration once you have the plan.
It is taught by Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls, the same plan that covers leaf roofing, so it pairs naturally with a thatch-style Roofs build. At 750 Max Health it is more fragile than the sturdier fabric and straw canopies, so keep it for sheltered interior or back-of-base placement rather than exposed walls.

This piece contributes to your camp's Comfort rating, which raises crew morale and the quality of rest at a settlement. It counts as a Canopy source worth Comfort +1. Bonuses within the Canopy category do not stack, so building several canopies in the same area still grants the single +1 from that category. Spread different decoration categories around a base to push the overall Comfort total higher rather than duplicating one type.
Like all decorations, it only functions while it sits inside the radius of a Bonfire. Outside that range it provides no Comfort, so plan camp layouts so that beds, lighting, and banners all fall within the lit area.
