Arch (Plaster) is a decorative Arches building piece, finished in a smooth plaster surface so it reads as a worked, masonry style opening rather than bare rough stone. It is one of several arch shapes you can place when building a base, and it pairs naturally with the columns, capitals, and bases in the same plan so an open frontage or covered walkway can be framed with a single matching look.
Like other Base Building pieces, the arch is placed in build mode and snaps to a wall, beam, or column socket on your structure. Spanning a gap with an arch keeps a doorway or passage open while still tying the two sides of the frame together, which is useful for entrances, market stalls, and shaded interiors. Because it is a plaster finish piece it is meant to sit alongside the matching Capital (Mahogany), Capital (Stone), and column parts from the same plan.
Building this piece costs 5 Stone and takes about 1 second to place once you have the plan and the materials on hand. The recipe is unlocked by the Plans: Columns and Arches blueprint, the same plan that teaches the columns, column bases, capitals, and the other arch variants, so learning it once opens the whole decorative set.
The arch has a Max Health of 1,500, matching the sturdier plaster arch and wall pieces in its set. That health pool is what the structure can absorb from attacks or environmental damage before the piece is destroyed, so the higher value makes it a more resilient choice than the lighter stone capital for exposed, front-facing parts of a base.
Every piece below is taught by the same Plans: Columns and Arches blueprint, so they are designed to be built together. Mix the arch with matching columns, bases, and capitals for a consistent facade:

Learn the plan once and you can place every shape in the set, so plan the frontage as a whole rather than crafting one arch at a time. Keep a small Stone reserve in your build storage, since each arch only needs a handful and the placement time is short. For a unified look, cap your columns with a Capital (Stone) or Capital (Mahogany) before springing the arch across the top.
