Fixed trailer count wording and added Lars Mikkelsen as Johannes Gutenberg plus Holy Roman Empire reveal detail
Chronicles: Medieval has had three official trailers released as of June 2026, all available on the Steam store page and the game's official channels: the Announcement Trailer, the Rewriting History trailer, and the Gameplay Reveal.
The Chronicles: Medieval announcement trailer was revealed at Summer Games Fest on June 6, 2025. The trailer features narration by actor Tom Hardy and music composed by Adam Skorupa. The reveal generated significant community interest, with the game reaching 200,000 Steam wishlists shortly after the announcement.
A second trailer titled "Chronicles: Medieval: Rewriting History" was subsequently released, providing further looks at gameplay and the world of the game.
A third trailer, the Gameplay Reveal, debuted at Summer Game Fest in June 2026 and was published to the game's official channels on June 5, 2026. Captured directly from the game, it showcases large-scale battles set during the Hundred Years' War, with the player commanding an army on horseback while fighting in the thick of the melee. The trailer is narrated by Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen. It marks the first extensive look at in-engine gameplay, including the planning phase before a battle, shifting troop formations, and the morale swings that decide an engagement.
The reveal doubled as the first public showcase of the Holy Roman Empire, one of the three playable factions, accompanied by new key artwork. The voice in the trailer belongs to Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen, who portrays Johannes Gutenberg in the game and narrates parts of the journey players undertake.
