Faie is Elliot's fairy companion and the co-protagonist of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. She is a fairy that only Elliot can see or hear, invisible and inaudible to every other person they encounter across the four ages. She accompanies Elliot for the full length of the thousand-year mission, from their home time all the way back to the dawn of civilization.
Role and Abilities
Faie supports Elliot throughout the journey using fairy magic, which she gains new abilities for at Shrines of the Mystic scattered across Philabieldia. Her confirmed magic abilities include Sprint, which boosts Elliot's movement speed; Warp, which teleports him to her location; Ignite, a fire magic that lights torches, melts ice, and detonates explosives; Vacuum, which draws in nearby enemies and objects; and Copy, in which Faie mirrors Elliot's own attacks. Beyond combat and puzzle support, she can pick up items and, when Elliot falls in battle, she can revive him (at a cost in tul currency).
Mystery
Faie's memories from before she met Elliot are hazy at best. Throughout the adventure she cannot shake the feeling that she has forgotten something important. The nature of what she may have lost, and why her past is obscured, has not been revealed so far. The developers have framed whether Faie can be fully trusted as a deliberate question for players to resolve over the course of the adventure, rather than something settled so far.
Local Co-Op
In local co-op, a second player takes direct control of Faie, making her an active participant in combat and exploration rather than a companion managed by Elliot's player alone. The co-op mode is local only, and the developers have said the game has no online play features.

Post-Launch Adjustments
A version 1.1.0 update released in July 2026 added a menu option to turn off Faie's voice entirely, going beyond the earlier setting that only lowered how often she spoke. The same update fixed frame-rate drops that some PC players ran into when she was present. Both options are covered on the Accessibility and Options page.
