Yellow Sheep are obtained through the breeding system. Start with the base pair: one Snowool and one Ebowool (650 Coins each, Intermediate Rancher tier). Community reports suggest that Yellow can appear relatively early in the breeding process, with one player noting it appeared on their 5th breeding attempt. However, results vary due to the RNG-based nature of the system.
Any sheep pair can potentially produce Yellow offspring. The base variants (Snowool, Ebowool, Duswool, Fluffwool) seem most likely to produce a variety of colored offspring. Once you have a pair of Yellow Sheep, breeding them together reportedly gives a roughly 60% chance of more Yellow offspring.
Yellow Sheep produce Yellow Wool when sheared with an Electric Shearer. Yellow Wool is one of seven colored wools in the textile crafting pipeline. Process it at the Spinning Wheel and Loom to create yellow fabric for clothing and furniture at the Sewing Table. Yellow Sheep also produce Sheep Milk, Sheep Saliva, and Poop.
Yellow Wool is one of seven colors required for the Intermediate Rancher quest to deliver each colored wool to Pastelle.
Some players report needing 10+ Sheep Barns and 2 Breeding Houses to get Yellow, while others get it within the first few attempts. Results are purely random.
Once you have Yellow Sheep, set up a dedicated same-color breeding pair in the Selective Breeding House for consistent Yellow Wool production.
