Overview

Windflute Island is a small offshore island located southwest of Blue Beach. It is one of the earliest explorable locations outside the main island and can be reached by swimming. The island is notable for its large Banyan Trees and Small Beehives, which produce honey, a useful cooking ingredient.

How to reach Windflute Island

Head to Blue Beach and swim southwest. The island is close enough that you can reach it without running out of stamina, even early in the game. Once you have access to a vehicle like the Bamboo Raft or Jet Ski, the trip becomes trivial.

Resources

• Banyan Trees: Large trees that can be chopped for Softwood and other wood materials. Some have unique harvestable items.

• Small Beehives: Found hanging from Banyan Tree branches. Harvest them for honey, which is used in several cooking recipes.

• Wild flowers and herbs: Seasonal plants spawn on the island's grassy areas.

• Shells and beach items: The shoreline has collectible items similar to Blue Beach.

Tips

• Visit in the morning when stamina is full to maximize gathering time.

• Bring an axe: the Banyan Trees require chopping to access beehives in some cases.

• The island resets its resources daily, so it is worth visiting regularly for honey.
