The Spring Festival is one of three major seasonal festivals in inZOI, introduced alongside the calendar and birthday system in the v0.7.0 anniversary update on March 26, 2026. It takes place during the Blossoming season (Spring) of the in-game calendar year and celebrates the arrival of warmer weather with themed activities and festive decorations in each city's main park.
The Spring Festival follows the same seasonal celebration framework established by the Halloween Festival (v0.4.0, October 2025) and the Winter and Year-End Festival (v0.5.0, December 2025). While those earlier festivals were delivered as real-world timed events, the Spring Festival is part of the permanent in-game seasonal rotation tied to the 28-day calendar cycle. This means it recurs automatically each time the Blossoming season arrives in a player's save file.
The v0.7.0 update introduced a 28-day month calendar that divides each in-game year into four seasons, each lasting 7 in-game days:
Season | In-Game Name | Duration | Festival |
|---|---|---|---|
Spring | Blossoming | 7 days | Spring Festival |
Summer | Verdant | 7 days | None currently |
Fall | Plentiful | 7 days | |
Winter | Fairytale | 7 days | Winter and Year-End Festival |
At the default day length of 96 real-world minutes per in-game day, one season takes roughly 11 hours and 12 minutes of gameplay at normal speed. The Spring Festival is marked on the calendar automatically, and the game sends a notification when the festival period begins. Players can view upcoming festivals by checking the calendar at any time.
Like other seasonal events, the Spring Festival takes place in the main parks of all three cities:
City | Festival Location |
|---|---|
Barat Beach |
Each location is decorated with spring-themed props and seasonal landmarks during the festival period. The specific atmosphere can vary between cities due to differences in climate and geography. Cahaya's tropical setting, for example, presents a different visual backdrop compared to Dowon's urban parks.
The v0.7.0 update added three new festival booth items to the building catalog. These booth objects can be placed in parks and lots to create festival gathering spaces. The booth system follows the same pattern established by the Holiday Festival (v0.5.0), which featured themed Snack Booths, Gift Booths, and Ingredients Booths in each city's main park.
During previous festivals, the booths offered seasonal snacks, gift boxes containing limited-edition Build Mode items, and crafting kits for seasonal recipes. The Spring Festival booths follow this established format, providing players with seasonal goods and activities during the Blossoming season.
The v0.7.0 update also introduced flower farming and arranging alongside the Spring Festival, making the two features natural companions. The update added six new farmable flower varieties, the ability to craft bouquets and flower baskets, and a new Flower Shop business type that players can purchase and operate.
Players with a high Gardening skill can apply special effects to their flowers, enhancing their value and visual appeal. Bouquets crafted at flower shops can be gifted to other Zois, adding a social dimension that pairs well with the festive spring atmosphere. Existing flower shop properties in the city can now be acquired and run as player-owned businesses.
While the flower system is a standalone feature available year-round, the timing of its release alongside the Spring Festival creates a thematic connection. Growing and arranging flowers during the Blossoming season offers a natural seasonal activity that complements the festival celebrations.
The Spring Festival is one of three recurring seasonal celebrations in inZOI. Each festival has its own identity and seasonal theming:
Festival | Season | Update | Key Features |
|---|---|---|---|
Spring Festival | Blossoming (Spring) | v0.7.0 (March 2026) | Spring-themed decorations, festival booths, seasonal celebration in parks |
Plentiful (Fall) | v0.4.0 (October 2025) | Pumpkin farming, trick-or-treating, ghost fish, costumes, ghost gameplay | |
Winter and Year-End Festival | Fairytale (Winter) | v0.5.0 (December 2025) | Snack/gift/ingredient booths, choir performances, gift boxes with Build Mode items, cookie crafting kits |
The Halloween and Winter festivals were initially introduced as real-world timed events. With the v0.7.0 calendar system, all three festivals now operate on the permanent in-game seasonal cycle. The 2026 development roadmap indicates that additional festival content and a Summer festival may be added in future updates.
Check the calendar regularly to see when the Blossoming season is approaching so you can plan your schedule around the festival.
Visit all three city parks during the Spring Festival. Each location has a different setting and atmosphere.
Use the festival period to level up your Gardening skill. The flower farming system pairs naturally with the spring theme.
Craft bouquets at your flower shop during the Blossoming season and gift them to build relationships with other Zois.
Place festival booth items from the building catalog on your own lots to create a personal spring celebration space.
