Speeder bikes are one of the four Repulsorcraft classes in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. They are the speed-first option. A speeder bike delivers great straight-line speed, but that pace comes with a catch: it is harder to control around corners. Where a landspeeder leans into its weight, the bike asks you to manage a fast, lighter frame that does not want to turn as cleanly. The class also has its own entry in the studio's in-fiction vehicle breakdown series, published in August 2026, in which Hibi, the Ardennian engineer who upgrades Shade's vehicles in the paddock, talks the class through its features, benefits and build possibilities.

Handling
The class's signature chassis trait is Kinetic Burst, which suits a frame built around straight-line speed. On a track with long straights a speeder bike can pull away from heavier classes, but every corner is a test, and a pilot who overcooks a turn on a bike pays for it more than they would on a steadier frame. The reward is pace; the price is precision.
In that breakdown Hibi describes speeder bikes as being "like concussion missiles with handlebars", and official material bills the class as the explosively fast option, pros and cons included. The joke has a point behind it. The bike is the frame that commits you: it gets to the next corner faster than the heavier classes and then asks you to deal with the consequences, so the pilots who get on with it are the ones who are comfortable being slightly out of shape at speed.
The handling is deliberately grounded in a real-world analogue. Game Director Bill Lane has said that landspeeders needed to drive like cars and speeder bikes needed to drive like bikes, and the reference work went as far as the animation: the rider leads the bike's motion, the way a rider does in real life, rather than sitting still on top of it. What a bike does not have is grip in the ordinary sense. No repulsorcraft in this game runs a traction model, so the frame holds the track through technological means instead of through the surface under it, which is why a speeder bike can be twitchy without ever feeling like it is sliding on a tyre. The class hub covers that physics in full.

Customization
Speeder bikes draw on the same deep customization as the other classes. You build from the pool of over 300 parts and raise the five base stats, Afterburner, Battery, Cornering, Ramjet, and Resilience, between races. For a frame that struggles in corners, investing in Cornering is one way to soften the class’s main weakness, and Resilience matters because a fast, fragile bike has little room for mistakes. The build system is detailed on Gameplay and Controls. The five stats and the chassis traits are also listed in full on the Repulsorcraft hub.
The Kor Sarun: Ciza T
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive speeder bike, the Kor Sarun: Ciza T. It is part of the Kor Sarun vehicle line, alongside the Deluxe landspeeder and skim speeder. The full Deluxe contents are listed on Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses. The naming is a make-and-model form: Kor Sarun is the make, Ciza T the model. Official material bills the Ciza T as the premium option for style-conscious pilots, and like the rest of the Kor Sarun line it is a cosmetic, class-specific vehicle rather than a performance unlock tied to progression.
