Landspeeders are one of the four Repulsorcraft classes in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. They are the weighty option. A landspeeder has real weight to it, and that weight is the point: the frame specializes in drifting around corners. If the speeder bike is about raw straight-line pace, the landspeeder is about carrying speed through turns by sliding rather than fighting them.

Handling
The class's signature chassis trait is Drift, which fits how it flies. The weight that would make a lighter frame feel sluggish instead gives the landspeeder its cornering identity, letting you break the back end loose and ride a slide through a turn. A pilot who is comfortable drifting can hold a clean, fast line where a twitchier frame would have to scrub speed.
Official material sums the class up in one line: landspeeders are known for their power and resilience, and they are the perfect choice for running other pilots off the track. That puts the frame at the contact-racing end of the grid as well as the drifting end, and it explains why the weight reads as an asset rather than as dead mass. The handling brief behind it is a car. Game Director Bill Lane has said landspeeders needed to drive like cars, mostly, and the reference material the team worked from was rally cars and Paris-Dakar off-roaders rather than circuit racers, which is why the frame is happiest sliding across changing surfaces instead of hunting one perfect line. Like every repulsorcraft here it has no traction model underneath it: grip comes through technological means rather than from the surface, so the weight is a designed sensation rather than a tyre simulation.

The studio has since begun a vehicle breakdown series fronted in fiction by Hibi, the Ardennian engineer who runs the paddock workshop, and the landspeeder is the first class it covers. Her summary of the frame is that it is beefy and drifty and can be customized to suit your style, which lines up with how the class has been described since the reveal: weight first, cornering through the slide, and a wide tuning range on top. That series has since continued past the landspeeder, covering Speeder Bikes in its second episode and Skim Speeders in its third. A fourth episode was signposted, but it had not been published as of September 27, 2026.

Customization
Like every class, landspeeders are heavily customizable. You build them from the shared pool of over 300 parts and tune the five base stats, Afterburner, Battery, Cornering, Ramjet, and Resilience, between races. Cornering in particular plays into a drift-focused frame’s strength, while Resilience helps a heavier frame shrug off the contact that comes with racing. The full build system is on Gameplay and Controls. The five stats themselves, and the chassis traits that sit alongside them, are listed on the Repulsorcraft hub.
The Kor Sarun: Darc X
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive landspeeder, the Kor Sarun: Darc X. Kor Sarun is a vehicle line rather than a character, and the Darc X is its landspeeder entry, bundled with the Deluxe Edition's other two Kor Sarun vehicles. The Deluxe lineup and the rest of its contents are covered on Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses. The naming is a make-and-model form: Kor Sarun is the make, Darc X the model. The Darc X is also the vehicle the Collector’s Edition reproduces as a finely crafted metal model, on top of shipping in-game.
