It holds storage, vendors for seeds, accessories, potions, and food, and the introductory quests for the life skills: cooking at a kitchen, brewing at a chemistry lab, farming at a homestead, plus foraging and mining nearby. It is also the home of your personal base and its crafting stations, and a staging point with routes out to the wider world.

Virelda carries several rentable apartment locations and its own set of farming plots, and the same arrangement exists in Arcadia, Neo-Tilus and Farpoint, so where you rent decides how close your base sits to the nodes and stations you use most.
