11 Raids are the cooperative endgame of Soulbound: Online. They sit at the top of the dungeon list, above the five-rung beacon ladder, and they take larger parties than an ordinary run. Raids were on the studio's plan for the third quarter of 2026 and the first one arrived within the opening weeks of Early Access, sooner than the team expected, because players reached the gear level for it faster than predicted.

66 An entry in the in-game list is a registry of what exists in the build's data, not a promise that the content is finished and open. Where the list and the studio's published plan disagree, the plan is the one to trust.

88 Spectra Lair is worth separating out, because the name covers two different things. The dungeon registry carries a raid entry at the Abyssal tier for up to six players, and a separate lower-tier version of the same fight for up to three that is played during the final quest and is not offered by the Dungeon Finder. The studio has said a coming content update will open the doors to the Spectra Raid, and the patch that does so had not arrived at the time of writing, so the raid version should be treated as listed rather than live. Older guides describing a key requirement for every participant date from the earlier browser build and have not been confirmed for the current one.

1010 Announced Raids
1111
1212 Two further raids are named on the studio's roadmap and neither is open. The Spectra Raid was added to the roadmap on 2 September 2026 as a raid against Spectra for four or more players, with two difficulty levels, and it is targeted at the same quarter as the launch rather than a distant one. The Mecha Titan Raid, a new raid boss, was moved to the fourth quarter of 2026 in the same update. Both appear in the build's data in various places, which is why they surface in player documentation as though they were selectable, but an entry in a list is a registry of what exists in the data rather than a promise that you can walk into it.

1515 Getting In
1616
1717 The hardest content is gated by story progress as well as by gear. The Shattered and Abyssal rungs and the raids all require the quest Onward and Upward, which opens after Diplomatic Relations, so a character cannot simply gear up and skip ahead. Abyssal Raid itself does not appear in the Dungeon Finder; it is entered from its own entrance in the world. Its list entry also reverses the usual labels, showing its type as Abyssal and its tier as Raid, which is why it reads oddly next to the beacon entries.

1919 Preparing For A Raid
2020
2121 Raid encounters use the Abyssal tier, the same rung as the hardest beacon runs, so the gear that clears an Abyssal beacon is the baseline. Because abilities are randomised inside the Abyssal Raid, the Ability Configurator is worth carrying: it stops the randomisation and lets you bring the loadout you actually built. Party composition matters more than in a three-player run, and the usual split of tanking, healing and damage applies, with the classless system letting anyone fill any of those roles by changing gear.

2323 Live Events
2424
2525 The Abyssal Raid is run as a live event rather than as an entry you can queue for whenever you like. It opens on a tridaily schedule for a one-hour window, and while it is open you take on the two giant robots deep in the eastern reach and deal enough damage to claim the rewards. A second event runs on the same rhythm: "We're Gunna Need a Bigger Boat", a fishing event at the Blackwake's secret spot off the coast of Neo-Tilus, open for a quarter of an hour at a time.

2828 Rewards are paid on contribution rather than on a kill. Each event fills a shared progress bar that everyone taking part contributes to, with a per-participant ranking underneath it, and payouts arrive in your mailbox instead of a chest at the end of a run. For the fishing event the global contribution cap was removed in August 2026: reaching 10 personal contribution during the window is now enough to qualify. What you earn is Commission Credits and Commission Medals, the two currencies redeemed for cosmetic sets at the Pioneers Guild in Virelda, and neither can be bought with money.

3030 Multi-phase encounters with mechanics that demand real coordination are the stated design goal, with loot scaled to match. Ten-player co-op was described as being in testing during the launch weeks and has not been announced as shipped since, so a party of five is the size to plan around.

3232 A Note On The Abyssal Raid's Cadence
3333
3434 The studio has described when the Abyssal Raid is available in two different ways, and both descriptions are current. Its commissions listing gives the cadence as a recurring one-hour window on a tridaily rotation, alongside the fishing event. A later guide page instead says the raid runs weekly. The attributes both agree on are the ones worth planning around: it takes a party of up to five, it is entered from its own entrance rather than through the Dungeon Finder, it sits in the eastern reach, and the target is two giant robots. Treat the schedule as something to check in the event panel beside the minimap rather than a fixed slot, because the two published descriptions do not agree.

3636 One thing that has changed for raid preparation is the consumable lockout added on 3 September 2026. Potions and other consumables are now locked while a use is in progress or a blocking buff is active, everywhere in the game, which removes the potion-spam safety net that made undergeared attempts survivable. The Cactaro King, the tier 6 Eastern Reach Abyssal boss, had its health cut to 55,000 on 9 September 2026 to make that fight less of a wall.
