Overview
The Silverium Pegasus is the signature mount in Silver Palace, serving as both a land and air traversal vehicle across the open world of Silvernia. Despite its name and winged appearance, the Pegasus is not a living creature or a traditional mythological horse. It is a synthetic creation made entirely of Silverium, the game's key magical resource, which gives it a distinctive metallic, otherworldly look.
Ground traversal
On the ground, the Silverium Pegasus gallops at speeds described by developers as rivaling cars. This makes it the fastest standard method of crossing large distances in Silvernia's open world. The mount can be summoned at any time when the player is in the overworld, with no known cooldown on summoning reported during the Monotype Beta. Players simply call the mount and it materializes, ready to ride.
Ground movement on the Pegasus handles fluidly, allowing players to navigate through city streets, across open plains, and along winding paths without dismounting for obstacles. The mount's speed makes it practical for reaching distant quest objectives, chasing down timed events, or simply exploring the world at a pace that matches the map's scale.
Aerial flight
The Pegasus can take to the air for aerial exploration. Once airborne, players can fly across rooftops, over buildings, and between elevated areas of the map that would otherwise require climbing or grappling to reach. Aerial traversal opens up vertical exploration, allowing players to discover hidden locations, reach elevated chests and collectibles, and get a bird's-eye view of the game world.
The specific mechanics of flight (whether there is a stamina bar limiting air time, altitude caps, or no-fly zones) were not extensively documented during the beta. What is clear from gameplay footage is that the Pegasus can sustain flight for meaningful distances, not just short glides or jumps.
Design and appearance
Visually, the Silverium Pegasus has a metallic, sculptural quality consistent with its Silverium construction. One of its most distinctive features is a notably long tail that trails behind it during flight, creating a dramatic silhouette against the sky. The synthetic nature of the mount fits Silver Palace's aesthetic, which blends 1920s Art Deco design with supernatural and technological elements.
Customization
The Silverium Pegasus supports customizable stats. Players can adjust attributes like speed, health, and cooldowns to tailor the mount to their preferred playstyle. Whether this customization is purely stat-based or also includes cosmetic options (skins, color schemes, accessories) has not been fully confirmed.
Other traversal options
While the Pegasus is the primary mount, Silver Palace also features additional traversal methods. A magic grappling hook allows players to latch onto points in the environment and zipline between them, providing quick vertical movement and a way to navigate tight urban spaces where the Pegasus might be impractical. The combination of the Pegasus for long-distance travel and the grappling hook for precision movement gives players a versatile traversal toolkit.
Beta availability
The Silverium Pegasus was a featured element of the Monotype Beta (January 13 to 18, 2026). Beta testers had full access to the mount, including both ground and aerial modes, allowing the community to evaluate its speed, handling, and integration with the open-world map. The mount was highlighted in pre-beta marketing as one of the test's key features.
