Overview

Season 4 of Roco Kingdom: World is titled Moon Surge Rhapsody (月涌狂想). It went live on September 10, 2026 at 04:00 China time and runs to November 5, 2026 at 04:00. The season closes out the fairy-tale framing of Season 3: Lead-Type Dream and moves the story to the lunar surface, which the official framing describes as a place the Rocos have never set foot on, reached under a meteor shower and tied to an old legend about wolves and the moon.

The season hall is called the Moon Surface (月面). It is where season rewards are exchanged and where the season commission chapters are tracked. Season spaces this time carry a low-gravity float effect, so movement inside them behaves differently from the open world.

Season Window

Silver Moon Wolf King

The season legendary is the Silver Moon Wolf King (银月狼王), the final form of the Cursed Wolf Spirit (诅咒狼灵) family. The published line runs Cursed Wolf Spirit into Crescent Moon Wolf Spirit (新月狼灵) and then into Silver Moon Wolf King. It is a two-seat mount, so a second player can ride along.

A personal name and an element typing for the legendary circulated in community write-ups before launch. Neither appears in any official post, so neither is recorded here. English names for the line are literal translations of the Chinese; no official English rendering exists for them, because the Chinese client has no English text and the six official English names published so far cover a different set of creatures. Starfall Streaming Light

Moon Surge Rhapsody introduces Starfall Streaming Light (星陨流光), the season's special encounter. Capturing spirits in an unbroken run gives a chance to trigger a meteor visit, and the meteor brings a season spirit with it. It replaces the season-encounter mechanics used in earlier seasons rather than running alongside them, and it pairs with a new item, the Moon Surge Prism Ball (月涌棱镜球).

Season Encounter Spirits

Eight spirits were named in the official pre-season dex posts as the ones reachable through the season encounter. Chinese names are the authoritative identifiers; the English column is a literal rendering, not an official name.

One community round-up printed 智慧章脑 and 测风蝉 in place of 章脑丸 and 量风碗. That page carries a self-declared notice that it was machine generated, and the official post is the authority, so the names in the table above are the ones used on this wiki.

Moon Surge Pass

The season pass is the Moon Surge Pass (月涌通行证). Two theme spirits are attached to it: Holy Kaibu Rice Dragon (圣凯布米龙), a Fire and Bug type, and Moon Envoy Luna (月使鹭纳), an Ice and Wing type. Both are pass-limited for the season in the same way earlier seasons handled their pass spirits, described on Season Pass and Monetization.

Season Emotes and Toys

Four season emotes shipped with the update, each at two levels: Call (呼唤), Sneak (偷偷摸摸), Surprise (惊喜) and Head Pat (摸摸头). They are unlocked by progressing the season commission chapters and then exchanged at the Moon Surface season hall using Wish Stars. One of them is a two-player action. Season toys convert to permanent items when the season ends and stay exchangeable with Wish Stars afterwards.

Collegiate Invitational

The first Collegiate Invitational (高校邀请赛) opened alongside the season on September 10, 2026. Students verify their school, then contribute to two separate boards.

Cosmic Pioneer Monthly Pack

The Pica Monthly bundle for the season opening is Cosmic Pioneer (宇宙拓荒者), on sale from the completion of the September 10 update to September 25, 2026 at 04:00. The outfit carries its own magic effects and unlocks dedicated interactions with three specific spirits: Silent Bone Dragon (寂灭骨龙), Star Eyes (星星眼) and Wise Radiance Chapter Brain (智辉章脑). The themed staff changes Star Magic so the mechanical satellite at the staff tip gathers energy first, then bursts into meteor fragments.

Two shop changes landed with it. The Why Use A Magic Broom As A Paintbrush (怎么可以用魔法扫帚当画笔) pack was delisted once the September 10 update completed, and the Secret Infiltration Plan (秘密潜入计划) outfit moved into the random shop. A standing rule was published at the same time: Pica Monthly sets and all their loose pieces enter the random shop 42 days after they are delisted, while themed staffs, themed bag charms and themed namecards never do. Economy Changes

Spectral Crystal (分光水晶) output was raised across the season, but stamina no longer produces crystals, so the routes that used to farm them through stamina spending were closed. An Academy Monthly Supply (学院月度补给) was added, and pass experience gained an after-the-fact claim path for players who miss it. Currency handling is covered on Resources and Currency.

The Cocoa Harvest Festival hands out 480 free Cocoa Fruit Balls, and each one is stated to guarantee a Starfall Streaming Light encounter. The Legendary Spirit Battle on October 1 features Dragon Breath Parasus.

Book Donation Campaign

Alongside the season the team ran a reading campaign built on the in-game Spirit Survey Team missions. Working with a charitable foundation and a parental-guardianship platform, the campaign donated 11,990 animal science books to 22 rural primary and secondary schools in Tibetan communities across Qinghai, Sichuan, Tibet and Yunnan, framed as a real-world counterpart to the in-game observation notes.
