Overview
Spirit Kings (精灵王) are the highest rarity spirits in Roco Kingdom: World. They represent the pinnacle of spirit power and prestige, standing far above common, rare, and even legendary-tier creatures. Spirit Kings cannot be obtained through normal wild capture. Instead, players must complete extensive prerequisite quest chains and clear high-difficulty dungeons designed specifically around each Spirit King encounter.
Obtaining a Spirit King is considered one of the most significant accomplishments in the game. These spirits boast exceptional stats, unique move pools, and striking visual designs that set them apart from every other creature in the roster. For many players, the pursuit of Spirit Kings is the defining endgame goal.
Requirements
Before attempting to challenge a Spirit King, players must meet several prerequisites. The exact requirements vary by Spirit King, but the general baseline is as follows:

Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
Character Level | Level 34 or higher (varies by Spirit King) |
Main Story Progress | Complete main story chapters 1 through 6 |
Prerequisite Quests | Clear the dedicated quest chain specific to each Spirit King |
Dungeon Clear | Successfully complete the associated high-difficulty dungeon |
Meeting the level requirement alone is not enough. The prerequisite quest chains often involve gathering specific materials, defeating particular elite enemies, and speaking with key NPCs across multiple locations in the world. These quests are designed to test a player's overall progression and game knowledge before granting access to the Spirit King encounter.
The dungeons themselves are among the hardest content in the game. Players should prepare a well-rounded team with strong element type coverage and plenty of healing resources before entering.
Holy Feather Wing King (圣羽翼王)
The Holy Feather Wing King (圣羽翼王) is a Wing/Flying-type (翼系) Spirit King and the supreme leader of all wing-type attributes. It boasts excellent base qualifications across the board, making it one of the most well-rounded Spirit Kings in the game. Beyond combat, the Holy Feather Wing King also serves as a top-tier flying mount, allowing players to traverse the world map at high speed.
Attribute | Details |
|---|---|
Element | Wing / Flying (翼系) |
Role | Supreme leader of the wing-type attribute system |
Spawn Location | Wind Sleep Sanctuary (风眠圣所) |
Minimum Player Level | Level 34+ |
Evolution Requirement | Level 40 with 2-star rating |
Mount Capability | Top-tier flying mount |
How to Obtain
Obtaining the Holy Feather Wing King requires completing a multi-step process tied to the main story:
Complete Main Story Chapter 1 in its entirety (all 7 sections). This is the first major prerequisite.
Complete chapters 1 through 6 of the main story and finish all associated prerequisite quest chains.
Reach player level 34 or higher. The encounter will not trigger if you are below this threshold.
Trigger the special boss battle at Wind Sleep Sanctuary. The game prompts you to correctly input spirit names to awaken memories as part of the encounter sequence.
Defeat the boss in the awakened memory battle. Once victorious, you receive the Holy Feather Wing King.
Once captured, the Holy Feather Wing King evolves at level 40 provided it has reached a 2-star rating through spirit cultivation. Its evolved form gains significantly boosted stats and access to exclusive Wing-type moves that are unavailable to any other spirit in the game.

General Spirit King Mechanics
Spirit Kings follow a set of universal rules that distinguish them from all other spirits in the game:
Cannot be wild-caught under any circumstances. Spirit Kings never appear as random encounters in the overworld. There is no way to capture them through normal means.
Require extensive prerequisite quest chains. Each Spirit King has a dedicated multi-step quest line that must be completed before the encounter becomes available. These quests test a player's overall game knowledge and progression.
Must clear high-difficulty dungeons. Every Spirit King is guarded by a dungeon specifically designed around that Spirit King's element and fighting style. These dungeons are among the hardest PvE content in the game.
Level requirements apply. Players must reach a minimum character level (typically level 34 or higher) before Spirit King quests become accessible.
Main story progress is mandatory. Most Spirit King quest chains require completing at least the first six chapters of the main story before they unlock.
These restrictions ensure that Spirit Kings remain prestigious endgame rewards rather than something obtainable early in a player's journey.
Encounter Types
The game features multiple tiers of boss encounters that lead up to Spirit Kings. Understanding this hierarchy helps players gauge their readiness for Spirit King challenges.
Encounter Tier | Description |
|---|---|
Flower Seed Challenges | Elite monster encounters found throughout the open world. These serve as an entry point to challenging PvE content and drop useful materials. |
Leader Spirits | Mini-bosses with enhanced forms (首领形态). They have boosted stats, unique move pools, and distinctive visual effects compared to their standard counterparts. |
Legendary Spirits | Major boss encounters that require coordinated team strategies. These spirits are significantly more powerful than Leader Spirits and guard access to rare rewards. |
Spirit Kings | The ultimate tier. Spirit Kings sit at the top of the encounter hierarchy and demand the highest level of preparation, strategy, and team composition. |
Each tier builds on the one before it. Players who struggle with Flower Seed Challenges should focus on leveling and team composition before attempting Leader Spirits, and so on up the chain. Rushing to a Spirit King encounter without adequate preparation will result in a swift defeat.
Season 1 Legendary: Dragon Breath Parsa
Dragon Breath Parsa (龙息帕萨) is a Dark-type legendary spirit exclusive to Season 1, titled "Dark Night Collecting Light." While not a Spirit King itself, Dragon Breath Parsa represents the pinnacle of seasonal legendary content and is closely associated with the Spirit King tier in terms of power and prestige.
Attribute | Details |
|---|---|
Element | |
Season | Season 1: Dark Night Collecting Light |
Exclusive Skill | Evil Thought Exchange |
Skill Effect | Drains opponent's magical power |
Investigated By | NPC Lumeng |
Dragon Breath Parsa's exclusive skill, Evil Thought Exchange, drains the opponent's magical power during combat. This makes it a powerful disruptive force in both PvE and PvP encounters, as it can starve opponents of the resources they need to use their strongest moves. The skill is unique to Dragon Breath Parsa and cannot be learned by any other spirit.
The NPC Lumeng is central to Dragon Breath Parsa's storyline. Players work alongside Lumeng to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding this legendary spirit's appearance. The quest chain weaves into the broader Season 1 narrative and rewards players with the opportunity to obtain Dragon Breath Parsa upon completion.
Dimo and the Light-Type Spirit King
Dimo holds a unique place in Spirit King lore. According to in-game records, Dimo is described as "Arthur King's old companion and the last Light-type Spirit King." This connection positions Dimo as a living relic of an earlier era when Light-type Spirit Kings still existed. Whether Dimo can be fully awakened as a Spirit King through future content remains one of the game's most intriguing mysteries.
For more information on Dimo's backstory and abilities, see the dedicated Dimo article.
Tips for Spirit King Battles
Spirit King battles are the most demanding encounters in Roco Kingdom: World. Proper preparation is the difference between victory and a frustrating wipe. The following tips will help you approach these fights with confidence.
Prepare a diverse team covering the Spirit King's type weaknesses. Bringing multiple spirits that exploit the boss's vulnerability ensures you have backup options if one falls in battle.
Stock up on healing items and status-clearing resources. Spirit King fights are long and punishing. Running out of healing mid-fight is one of the most common reasons players fail these encounters. Buy extra supplies before entering the dungeon.
Study the boss's attack patterns during initial attempts. It is completely normal to lose your first few tries against a Spirit King. Use early attempts as learning opportunities to observe the boss's rotation, identify safe windows for healing, and spot telegraph animations that signal incoming heavy attacks.
Bring spirits with high defensive stats for survivability during extended fights. Spirit Kings deal massive damage, so having at least one or two tanky spirits on your team gives you breathing room to recover and reposition.
Coordinate with other players when possible. Some Spirit King encounters support multiplayer co-op, allowing friends to join the fight. A coordinated team with dedicated roles (damage dealer, healer, tank) has a much higher success rate than solo attempts.
For more information on building effective teams and training your spirits for these encounters, see the Spirit Cultivation and Combat System guides.
