Overview

Oil Lantern is an event-exclusive Utilities item in Pokemon Pokopia, introduced during the Sableye's Gem Hunt event (April 29 - May 14, 2026). It is one of the cheapest items in the event shop at 2 Red Crystal Fragments and provides a soft glow when lit, useful for brightness-system requirements in dark areas.

In-game description: "A lantern that provides a dim glow when lit. Perfect for exploring dark places!"

How to Obtain

Event Shop Purchase

During the Sableye's Gem Hunt event, exchange 2 Red Crystal Fragments per Oil Lantern at the Pokemon Center shop counter where Sableye has set up. The shop has unlimited stock during the event window.

Post-Event 3D Printing

After May 14, 2026, photograph an Oil Lantern beforehand to duplicate copies via the 3D Printer using Rare Pokemetal.

Lighting and Brightness

As a lit decoration, the Oil Lantern contributes light to its surroundings, helping bring habitat brightness up to required levels for Bright-tier comfort. The dim glow it provides is softer than a Streetlight or Wall Torch, which makes it suitable for atmospheric campsite or cave-themed builds where harsh light would feel out of place.

• At 2 fragments each, the Oil Lantern is one of the most cost-efficient ways to add Utilities-tagged decoration to comfort-tuned habitats.

• Pair multiple Oil Lanterns with a Camping Chair and Sleeping Bag for a complete campsite scene.
