Magmortar is a Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Blast Pokemon (Dex #164). When shooting 3,600 degree Fahrenheit fireballs from its arms, its body takes on a whitish hue from the intense heat. Magmortar is the final stage of the Magby family, which also includes Magmar. It carries both the Burn and Crush specialties, making it one of the most versatile Fire-type Pokemon on your island. Magmortar is a Rare visitor, so patience is needed when waiting for it to appear.
Magmortar is found at the Mini Kitchen habitat (#122). Wash your dishes and ingredients, then cook away on the stove. What's on the menu for today?

Magmortar is a Rare visitor at this habitat. It is available during all times of day (Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). Because Magmortar is Rare, it may take several visits before it shows up. The Mini Kitchen can be built in multiple biomes including Rocky Ridges, Withered Wastelands, Bleak Beach, Sparkling Skylands, Palette Town, and Cloud Island.
Build the Mini Kitchen habitat by placing a Kitchen Table, Cooking Stove, Frying Pan, and Modern Sink near each other. Since Magmortar is a Rare visitor, check back at the habitat regularly. The Mini Kitchen requires more items than many other habitats, so make sure you have all four components ready before setting it up.
Magmortar has the Burn specialty, shared with its pre-evolutions Magby and Magmar. Pokemon with the Burn specialty can use fire to process raw materials, such as smelting ore into ingots or cooking food. As the final stage of the family, Magmortar is the most powerful Burn user of the three.
Magmortar also has the Crush specialty, which neither Magby nor Magmar possess. Pokemon with the Crush specialty can break down large rocks, boulders, and other heavy objects into raw materials. This dual-specialty combination makes Magmortar exceptionally useful: it can both smelt materials with fire and break apart rocky obstacles. Other Pokemon with the Crush specialty include Geodude, Golem, and Larvitar.

"When shooting 3,600 degree Fahrenheit fireballs from its arms, its body takes on a whitish hue from the intense heat."
Magmortar is the final stage of a three-member family that includes Magby (Dex #162) and Magmar (Dex #163). In the main Pokemon series, Magmar evolves into Magmortar when traded holding a Magmarizer. In Pokopia, all three share the Burn specialty, but Magmortar is the only member with the additional Crush specialty. Magby is a Common visitor at the Pretty Flower Bed in Palette Town, Magmar is a Common visitor at the Digging and Burning habitat, and Magmortar is a Rare visitor at the Mini Kitchen.
Magmortar is one of the few Pokemon that combines Burn and Crush specialties, letting it handle both fire processing and rock breaking. This makes it a strong pick for resource-heavy islands.
The Mini Kitchen habitat requires four items (Kitchen Table, Cooking Stove, Frying Pan, Modern Sink), so plan your crafting ahead of time.
While waiting for Magmortar to appear at the Mini Kitchen, you can use Magby or Magmar as interim Burn Pokemon. Both are Common visitors at their respective habitats.
Magmortar prefers dry-flavored food, which is different from the sweet flavor preferred by Magby and Magmar. Stock up on dry-flavored food items to keep Magmortar happy.
