Overview

Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff are Grass/Flying-type Pokemon introduced to Pokemon Pokopia through the game's first limited-time event, "More Spores for Hoppip." These three Pokemon are not available in the base game and can only be befriended during the event period. All three have the Grow specialty, making them useful additions to any farming setup.

How to Participate

1. Ensure you have a rebuilt Pokemon Center in your town.

2. Hoppip appears outside the Pokemon Center and explains that its Dandy Flowers are missing.

3. Hoppip goes inside the Pokemon Center and sets up a shop selling exclusive event items.

4. Travel to Dream Islands via Drifloon. Dandy Flowers are scattered across Dream Islands.

5. Collect Dandy Flowers (approximately 70 per Dream Island visit).

6. Return to the Pokemon Center and exchange Dandy Flowers for picnic-themed furniture.

7. Build habitats using the event furniture to attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff.

Event Furniture and Habitats

The exclusive picnic-themed furniture items available from Hoppip's shop include:

• Picnic Blanket

• Flower Cushion

• Lunch Box

• Hoppip-themed decorations

Use these items to create habitats that attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. Each Pokemon requires a slightly different habitat configuration using the event furniture.

Dandy Flower Collection

Dandy Flowers are white, floating collectibles found on Dream Islands. Each Dream Island visit yields approximately 70 Dandy Flowers. Since Dream Islands reset daily (at 5:00 AM), you can collect a fresh batch every day during the event period.

You can only visit one Dream Island per day, so plan your visits to maximize spore collection throughout the event window.

Grow Specialty

All three Pokemon in the Hoppip line have the Grow specialty. Grow accelerates the growth of nearby crops and plants, making these Pokemon excellent additions to farming areas. Station them near your crop fields for faster harvest cycles.

Evolution Line

Event Timing

Community testing has discovered that the event triggers based on the Nintendo Switch 2 system clock rather than an online server verification. This means players can access the event by adjusting their system date to fall within the event window (March 10-24, 2026). The development team has not indicated whether this will be patched.

Tips

• Visit Dream Islands every day during the event. Dandy Flowers reset with each new island, so daily trips maximize your collection.

• Buy all event furniture first. Once the event ends, the shop closes and you cannot purchase more items.

• The Grow specialty makes Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff valuable even after the event ends. Station them near crops permanently.

• If you miss the event window, adjust your system clock to the event dates. The event checks the system clock, not an online server.

• You must have a rebuilt Pokemon Center for Hoppip to appear. If you have not rebuilt one yet, prioritize that before the event ends.
