Overview

The Gather Honey specialty is exclusive to Vespiquen. It allows you to trade Honey for random furniture items, some of which feature exclusive patterns not obtainable through any other method in Pokemon Pokopia.

How to Use

1. Approach Vespiquen and talk to it.

2. Select "I brought some Honey."

3. Give 3 Honey to receive 1 random furniture item.

Furniture Styles

Furniture from Vespiquen comes in several randomized styles:

• Plain, Chic, Cute, Resort, Antique

Item types include: Chests, Closets, Tables, Stools, Beds, Lamps, Chairs, Sofas, Curtains, Round Rugs, Beach Chairs, and Stands.

Tips

• Some patterns on Vespiquen's furniture are exclusive and cannot be found anywhere else.

• The furniture selection is randomized daily, so check back each day for new items.

• Honey is obtained by interacting with Combee or through natural drops around beehive habitats.

• Trade daily to maximize your pattern collection for Smearguru's painting system.

Unlocking Vespiquen

1. Build the Field of Flowers habitat. Required items: 3 Dandy Flowers (grow from seeds), 1 Beehive, 1 Flower Cushion.

2. Vespiquen appears as a flying visitor to the habitat

3. Interact with Vespiquen and complete its introductory request (deliver 5 Honey)

4. Once befriended, Vespiquen moves into a furnished home and begins offering daily furniture trades

Honey Supply

Vespiquen accepts only Honey as payment. Reliable Honey sources:

• Interact with Combee in Combee-hive habitats (drops 1 Honey per interaction)

• Jump Rope mini-game rewards at the 11-jump milestone

• Headbutt certain flowering trees in Rocky Ridges and Sparkling Skylands

• Ground pickups near natural beehive spawns during the Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest event

Furniture Trade Pool

Each daily trade yields one random piece of furniture. The pool includes multiple style variants and item categories:

Each item arrives in one of five styles: Plain, Chic, Cute, Resort, or Antique. Some patterns on Vespiquen's furniture are exclusive and cannot be obtained from any other source in the game.

Optimal Trading Schedule

• Trade all 4 items per day to maximize your rare-pattern collection

• Combine with Smearguru's Paint specialty to repaint incoming furniture into matching color schemes

• Keep 12+ Honey in reserve to hit the daily limit without waiting for Combee respawns

• Vespiquen's Pokedex description notes she can detect incoming Honey carriers at range, so she will briefly fly out to greet you when you approach with 3+ Honey
