Overview

Gallade is a Psychic/Fighting-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Blade Pokemon (Dex #234). Because it can sense what its foe is thinking, its attacks burst out first, fast, and fierce. Gallade is one of the two possible final evolutions of the Ralts line, alongside Gardevoir. It evolves from Kirlia in the main series. It carries two specialties: Build and Teleport, making it useful for both leading building projects and fast-traveling across your island.

Dojo Training (#178)

Once you employ the spirit of the warrior, you will be able to move even the heaviest of boulders.

Gallade is a Rare visitor at the Dojo Training habitat. Available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). Poliwrath also appears at this habitat as a Common visitor.

How to Befriend

Build the Dojo Training habitat by placing two Hanging Scrolls and two Strength Rocks near each other. Gallade is a Rare visitor, so you will need patience. Poliwrath appears here as a Common visitor, so you may befriend it first while waiting for Gallade. Walk up and interact with Gallade when it appears to befriend it.

Specialties

Build

Gallade has the Build specialty. Pokemon with the Build specialty will lead your building projects. When you assign construction tasks, a Build-specialty Pokemon will oversee the project and help it complete faster.

Teleport

Gallade also has the Teleport specialty. If you speak to a Pokemon with the Teleport specialty while you are using the Pokedex to search for another Pokemon, they can take you directly to that Pokemon's location. This specialty is shared by all other members of Gallade's evolution family: Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir.

Preferences

Gallade prefers bright environments. Unlike the rest of the Ralts family, Gallade favors Spicy flavors and has a completely different set of preferences. It enjoys exercise equipment, construction items, and fabric. This reflects its Fighting-type nature. Place these items near the Dojo Training habitat to boost its Comfort Level.

Evolution Family

Gallade is one of the two possible final evolutions of the Ralts line. In the main Pokemon series, Ralts evolves into Kirlia at level 20. A male Kirlia exposed to a Dawn Stone evolves into Gallade, while Kirlia that reaches level 30 evolves into Gardevoir instead. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each family member must be found at its own habitat independently. Unlike the rest of the family, Gallade has a unique habitat (Dojo Training) that it does not share with any other Ralts family member.

Tips

• Gallade is the only member of the Ralts family with the Build specialty, making it uniquely useful for construction projects on your island.

• The Dojo Training habitat also attracts Poliwrath (Common), so you can befriend a Fighting-type partner while waiting for Gallade to appear.

• Gallade's preferences are entirely different from the rest of the Ralts family. While Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir prefer cute and strange items, Gallade wants exercise equipment and construction materials. Do not reuse the same decorations.

• Gallade's combination of Build and Teleport makes it one of the best utility Pokemon for late-game island development. It can oversee construction and also serve as a fast-travel point.
