Overview

Charcadet is a Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Fire Child Pokemon (Dex #200). Its firepower increases when it fights, reaching over 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. It likes berries that are rich in fat. Charcadet is notable for having a branching evolution in the main Pokemon series, leading to either Armarouge (using Auspicious Armor) or Ceruledge (using Malicious Armor). Charcadet carries the Burn specialty.

Habitat: Piping-Hot Lava (#115)

Charcadet can be found at the Piping-Hot Lava habitat. The description reads: "Nothin' but piping-hot lava here! Fire-type Pokemon simply can't resist visiting."

Charcadet appears as a Common visitor at the Piping-Hot Lava habitat. It is available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) and in all weather conditions. This habitat also attracts Volcarona as a Rare visitor.

How to Befriend

Build the Piping-Hot Lava habitat by placing Molten Rock and Lava items together. This three-item habitat is straightforward to construct. Since Charcadet is a Common visitor, it should appear quickly. Walk up and interact with it to add Charcadet to your island.

Specialty: Burn

Charcadet has the Burn specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can ignite nearby flammable objects, such as campfires and furnaces. This is useful for cooking, converting clay into bricks, and keeping fires burning without manual intervention. Other Burn Pokemon include Armarouge, Ceruledge, Carkol, and Coalossal.

Preferences

Charcadet thrives in warm environments surrounded by fire and stone items. Its preference for strange stuff and luxury items adds some variety to its decoration options. Sweet-flavored dishes are the best gifts.

Related Pokemon

Charcadet has a branching evolution in the main Pokemon series. Using an Auspicious Armor evolves it into Armarouge (Dex #201), while using a Malicious Armor evolves it into Ceruledge (Dex #202). In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so all three must be found at their own habitats independently. Armarouge appears at the Auspicious Knight's Shrine, while Ceruledge appears at the Malicious Knight's Shrine. Other Fire-type Pokemon include Charmander, Charizard, and Magmar.

Tips

• Charcadet is one of the easiest Burn Pokemon to obtain thanks to its Common rarity and the simple Piping-Hot Lava habitat that requires only 3 items.

• If you are interested in the entire Charcadet family, note that Armarouge requires the Auspicious Knight's Shrine (which uses Auspicious Armor as a building material) and Ceruledge requires the Malicious Knight's Shrine (which uses Malicious Armor).

• Charcadet shares its warm-environment preferences with many other Fire types. Create a fire-themed zone on your island to keep multiple Fire Pokemon comfortable simultaneously.

• The Piping-Hot Lava habitat also attracts Volcarona (Rare), giving you a chance at a powerful extra Pokemon from the same setup.
