Overview

Blaziken is a Fire/Fighting-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Blaze Pokemon (Dex #122). When facing a tough foe, it looses flames from its wrists, and its powerful legs let it jump clear over buildings. Blaziken is the final stage of the Torchic family, following Torchic (Dex #120) and Combusken (Dex #121). While there is no evolution mechanic in Pokopia, all three can be found independently at their own habitats. Blaziken carries the Burn and Build specialties, but it is one of the harder Pokemon to find due to its high rarity.

Habitat

Blaziken can be found at two habitats, but it is a rare sight at both. Patience is needed to encounter this powerful Pokemon.

Chirp-chirp Meal (#069)

A feeding station designed to attract bird Pokemon. The plated food set on a table near a birdhouse draws avian visitors from across the island.

Blaziken is a Very Rare visitor at the Chirp-chirp Meal habitat. It shares this habitat with Torchic, which appears as Common. Blaziken is available during all times of day (Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night) and in all weather (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy).

Furnace Spot (#087)

An industrial fire-powered habitat where a furnace and metal drum generate electricity through combustion. This is the better option for finding Blaziken.

Blaziken is a Rare visitor at Furnace Spot, which is still more common than its Very Rare appearance at Chirp-chirp Meal. It shares this habitat with Combusken (Common). Available at all times and in all weather.

Location

Both habitats can be placed in any area, including Withered Wastelands, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, Sparkling Skylands, Palette Town, and Cloud Island. The Furnace Spot is recommended since Blaziken spawns as Rare there instead of Very Rare.

How to Befriend

Build the Furnace Spot habitat for the best chance at encountering Blaziken. Place a Metal Drum and Furnace Kit near each other and wait. Because Blaziken is Rare, it may take multiple in-game days before it appears. Once it shows up, walk up and interact with it to befriend it.

Specialties

Burn

Blaziken has the Burn specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can set fire to flammable objects such as campfires and furnaces. This is essential for powering fire-based crafting stations, creating Bricks from clay, and lighting up areas. Blaziken shares this specialty with its pre-evolution Combusken.

Build

Blaziken also has the Build specialty. Build Pokemon lead your construction projects when you want to assemble a house or structure from a building kit. Having Blaziken handle this role means you get a Build and Burn Pokemon in one, saving habitat space on your island.

Preferences

Blaziken enjoys warm, fire-themed surroundings and luxury decorations. Place fire-related items and spicy foods near its habitat to boost its Comfort Level.

Related Pokemon

Blaziken is the final stage of a three-member family alongside Torchic (Dex #120) and Combusken (Dex #121). In the main Pokemon series, Torchic evolves into Combusken at level 16, and Combusken evolves into Blaziken at level 36. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each must be found independently. Both Combusken and Blaziken can be found at the Furnace Spot habitat, making it an efficient location for befriending both.

Tips

• Blaziken is one of the rarer Pokemon in Pokopia. Use the Furnace Spot habitat for a Rare spawn rate rather than Very Rare at Chirp-chirp Meal.

• If you only need a Burn or Build Pokemon and cannot wait for Blaziken, Combusken is a much easier alternative with the same two specialties.

• Blaziken's combination of Burn and Build specialties makes it one of the most versatile Pokemon for island development. It can light furnaces and lead construction projects.

• Place luxury and fire-themed items near the Furnace Spot to increase Blaziken's comfort when it does appear.
