Stark is one of the premade Parafolk households in Paralives and one of the eleven households given a developer-written biography. It is a placed household in the town of Melino. The household consists of a single resident: Samantha Stark. It is the other half of the founding cast’s clearest inter-household storyline.

Resident Premise

Samantha Stark is a business entrepreneur who prides herself on running a safe and productive workplace. Her biography ties her to the Gervais household: she is the focus of Julien Gervais’s unspoken crush, and the two are written as rivals. Samantha’s side of the story is the workplace-driven counterpart to Julien’s perfectionism.

The Gervais Rivalry

The Stark and Gervais households share the only explicit inter-household narrative the developers wrote for the founding cast. Julien Gervais nurses a secret crush on Samantha while the two remain rivals. Whether that tension turns into competition, friendship, or romance is left for the player to decide once both households are in play.

Playing the Household

Stark loads directly in Live Mode as a single-resident placed household. Samantha’s entrepreneurial role runs through the Careers system, and her pride in a productive workplace fits the way Emotions and needs satisfaction feed into work performance. Any relationship with Julien Gervais develops through the Relationships and Social System and its Together Cards.

Status in the Launch Build

The Stark household is confirmed as part of the premade lineup that shipped with the Early Access launch on May 25, 2026. It is one of the placed households in the pre-made town of Melino, meaning players who load the default save will find the family already living on its lot. The developer-written biography that frames the household is part of this launch cast.

Out of Scope

Samantha’s exact age, lifestage, starting funds, the specific business she runs, her Vibe, and the lot she occupies in Melino are community-reported and not confirmed by the studio. Her name, her entrepreneur career, her rivalry with and the unspoken crush from Julien Gervais, and the developer-written premise are the confirmed facts.
