Overview

Outbound supports a first-person driving perspective that was added during development. This view provides a more immersive driving experience compared to the default camera angle, letting players see the road ahead from inside the camper van's cabin.

Camera modes

The game primarily uses a third-person perspective for on-foot exploration. The first-person option was confirmed for driving. Whether first-person is also available during on-foot gameplay has not been clarified. Camera modes and other control settings are covered in the controls and gameplay article.
