Corrected commission variants and linked walkthroughs

Headless Rider is encountered through Ride Assault, an Anomaly Hunt in Unheard Shores and a separate High-Risk commission. It is weak to Psyche. Complete the common commission before using its repeat encounter options.
A supernatural entity that appears only in the dead of night, roaming the city streets on a black motorcycle. The legend describes it as targeting high-speed street racers, challenging them to races and harvesting their reckless psyches with a terrifying scythe after victory. Bone-chilling blue flames will burn away all passion.

Fill the boss's break meter with consistent attacks and reward-heavy defensive inputs. Successful parries and dodges contribute significantly more to the break bar than a hit, and a clean parry also fills the Esper Cycle Meter instantly. Save ultimates and heaviest skills for the stagger window that follows a full break. Headless Rider takes greatly increased damage while staggered, so burst output during this phase largely determines whether the encounter clears quickly. Build the team around the Psyche weakness. Characters aligned with Psyche will see the largest damage multiplier, and team compositions that can enable elemental reactions on top of that attribute will apply additional pressure to the break bar between stagger windows.
The table below lists the boss's raw resistance value for each of the six elements. A lower number marks the element the boss is most vulnerable to. For Headless Rider, that element is Psyche.

Headless Rider shares its Psyche-weak slot with Beat King in the same Hethereau cluster. Pairing Fadia with Haniel covers both encounters and keeps Charging Knight Spark Plug stockpiled for Psyche Esper progression.

Drive an owned four-wheel vehicle to Fox Window Street after 20:00. Wait for Headless Rider, then follow it to the tunnel; winning a road race is not required. The tunnel transition starts its boss encounter. Watch the projected charge paths and dodge the phantom riders. Attack strings can finish with a parryable strike. Completing the common commission opens the Unheard Shores Anomaly Hunt; the separate High-Risk commission requires Hunter Level 24.
The Anomaly Hunt claim costs 60 Character Pixels, and its reward amounts scale with Appraisal Level. The common commission separately awards Raging Flames and its one-time completion bundle. High-Risk Ride Assault uses six tiers at levels 45, 55, 65, 75, 85 and 90, with a first-clear bundle of 30 Annulith, 3,600 Fons and 30 Peril Hunt Medals per tier.
