The Co-Ex Test was the third and final closed beta test for Neverness to Everness, running from February 6 to February 20, 2026. It served as the second global closed beta (following the Containment Test in July 2025) and the last major public testing phase before the game's full launch.
The Co-Ex Test was available on PC (Windows), PlayStation 5, and mobile devices (iOS and Android). This multi-platform availability allowed the developers to test cross-platform play and performance across all supported hardware configurations ahead of launch.

The Co-Ex Test introduced several significant features and content additions:
Multiplayer activities: The Pink Paws Heist was featured as a team-based multiplayer dungeon with stat equalization.
Crime and wanted system: A GTA-inspired wanted system was introduced, complete with police pursuits and prison/detention gameplay.
New characters: Several new playable characters were revealed and made available during the test period.
One of the most notable changes in the Co-Ex Test was the rebalancing of boss fight durations. In previous beta tests, boss encounters could last approximately 10 minutes, which many testers found tedious. For the Co-Ex Test, boss fights were shortened to approximately 3 minutes, making combat feel more dynamic and less drawn out. This change was well received by the community.

The Co-Ex Test included numerous quality-of-life improvements based on feedback gathered from the previous Containment Test (CBT2) and CBT1. These refinements touched on various aspects of the game including UI responsiveness, control feel, and progression pacing.
For a complete overview of all testing phases, see the Beta Test History article. The Co-Ex Test was preceded by the Containment Test (CBT2, July 2025) and the first closed beta test (CBT1). Each testing phase expanded the available content and incorporated player feedback.
