11Overview22The Prison System is a planned gameplay expansion for inZOI that will replace the current basic jail experience with full prison facilities. The system was announced as part of the July 2026 update in the 2026 Roadmap Part 1 letter published on December 26, 2025. As of October 19, 2026, the feature has not shipped (the live build is v0.11.0, the October 15, 2026 mini update, which did not include it). On September 18, 2026 the director said prison content would be pushed back because other systems need to be overhauled first, and no new date has been given.44The current incarceration mechanic, documented in Prison and Jail, places arrested Zois in a small cell at a police station for approximately 24 in-game hours.
