Overview

The Ferali, sometimes spelled Feralis, are a species that predated humanity on the continent of Primaera. According to the official Honor of Kings lore portal, they made a pact with the superbeings to maintain the Sun Towers, Primaera's First Wonder. The superbeings later broke this pact, treating the Ferali as uncivilized beasts and forcing them into endless toil, which eventually led to the rebellion led by Wukong.

Nature and Culture

The Ferali are described in lore as a species whose members have animal-like bodies and features. They existed on Primaera long before humans arrived, and early lore implies that they had their own forms of social organization, craft, and ritual before the superbeings reshaped their role. Specific tribal structures and languages have not been detailed in public material, but the rebellion storyline makes clear that the Ferali retained a strong sense of collective identity even after generations of forced labor.

The Pact with the Superbeings

When the superbeings built the Sun Towers to channel subterranean energy up into Celestia, they entered into a formal pact with the Ferali to maintain the structures.
