Replace with verified time-slow Support kit including Reverse Flow Time ability
Sun Bin (孙膑) is a Resonance (共鸣) in Honor of Kings: World, confirmed in the S0 Season launch roster on April 10, 2026. He is a member of Jixia Academy and functions as a 辅助 (Support) Resonance whose identity revolves around controlling the flow of time in combat. His signature ability is called "Reverse Flow Time" (逆流之时), which slows targets including bosses and charges allied Resonance ultimates. This makes him one of the most impactful Support Resonances in the S0 launch roster and a core piece of many co-op party compositions.
Sun Bin is a historical-mythological figure of ancient China, a legendary military strategist. In the Honor of Kings franchise he is reinterpreted as a Jixia Academy member whose mastery of Flow has led him to develop techniques for manipulating the apparent passage of time during combat. This makes him both a scholarly figure and a battlefield force multiplier, fitting the Jixia Academy ethos that wisdom and martial prowess are complementary rather than opposed.
Sun Bin's signature Resonance ability is confirmed by Baidu Baike primary text and the Tencent world.qq.com S0 landing page. Reverse Flow Time:
Slows targets including boss-tier enemies such as the Crimson Divine Beast (猩红神兽)
Can be used to interrupt dangerous boss wind-ups and create safe windows for the party
Charges the ultimate abilities of allied Resonances, enabling combo setups that would otherwise be too slow to execute
In practical play, this means a party running Sun Bin can regularly chain ultimates that would otherwise be spread out over long cooldowns. In the Tencent SPARK 2025 public demo, Sun Bin's time-slow was used as the setup for a full-power Crimson Divine Beast kill, demonstrating the intended co-op rhythm.
As a Support, Sun Bin is positioned in the backline and provides utility rather than raw damage. His core contribution is the tempo control provided by Reverse Flow Time, which amplifies the effective output of the rest of the party more than any standalone damage buff could. This makes him extremely valuable in co-op dungeons and raid boss encounters where precise timing and coordinated ultimate usage matter.
Position at the back of the party where you can maintain vision of allies and enemies
Save Reverse Flow Time for critical moments: boss wind-ups, ally ultimate setups, party wipe prevention
Communicate with the party about when you plan to trigger the slow so allies can chain ultimates
Pair with Offensive Resonances whose ultimates have long cooldowns (so his recharge is most valuable)
In solo play with AI companions, Sun Bin is still strong as the AI will use the extended time windows to deal damage
