Cleaned article wording and added utility details
Launch Status: This region name appeared in pre-release English marketing materials but has NOT been confirmed as a playable region in the April 10, 2026 S0 launch build by any independent Chinese primary source. It may be a pre-release placeholder, a renamed region, or a zone reserved for a future content season. The S0 launch build is centered on the Jixia Academy cluster, which represents approximately one tenth (1/10) of the full designed map. The article below is retained as a reference and will be updated or rewritten as launch-build region naming is verified. [NOT-IN-S0-PRERELEASE-REGION-2026-04-12]
Alsahraa is a vast desert region within the world of Primaera in Honor of Kings: World. Once the center of economic and cultural exchange between the eastern and western halves of Primaera, Alsahraa served as the crossroads where trade caravans, scholars, and warriors from both sides of the continent converged. Its historical significance as a meeting point of civilizations has left the region rich with ancient ruins, buried treasures, and cultural relics from multiple traditions.
The region is also notable as the birthplace of Li Bai, the legendary swordsman whose Flow Style is one of the most iconic in the game. Li Bai's origins in Alsahraa connect the desert's history to the personal story of one of Honor of Kings: World's most important characters.
Alsahraa is surrounded by several prominent natural and constructed landmarks that define its borders and character. Hero's Gorge, a deep ravine carved by ancient geological forces, marks one of the approaches to the region. The Great Wall extends along another boundary, serving as both a defensive fortification and a testament to past civilizations' engineering capabilities.
The Stone Forest Maze is a natural labyrinth of towering rock formations eroded into complex, disorienting patterns by centuries of wind and sand. Travelers who enter unprepared can easily become lost among the pillars and narrow passages. The Celestial Gate, another bordering landmark, is a monumental structure that connects Alsahraa to the broader world beyond the desert.
Within the desert itself, sand dunes shift constantly under the influence of powerful winds, revealing and concealing ruins with the passage of time. Oases scattered throughout the region serve as rare havens of life amid the arid landscape, and many settlements have formed around these water sources over the centuries.
Alsahraa's position between eastern and western Primaera made it a natural hub for commerce and cultural exchange. Merchants traveling the trade routes between the two halves of the continent passed through the desert, bringing goods, ideas, and traditions with them. This constant flow of cultural exchange produced a uniquely blended civilization that incorporated elements from both sides of Primaera.
The decline of Alsahraa as a trade hub is tied to broader shifts in Primaera's political landscape. As power consolidated in other regions and alternative routes emerged, the desert's importance waned. The ruins scattered across Alsahraa are remnants of its former prosperity, now half-buried in sand and guarded by Ferali and other dangers.
As a playable region, Alsahraa offers exploration opportunities focused on navigating its harsh desert environment and uncovering buried secrets. The shifting sands create dynamic terrain where previously inaccessible areas can become reachable after sandstorms reshape the landscape. Players exploring Alsahraa will encounter desert-adapted Ferali, bandits who prey on travelers, and environmental hazards such as heat exposure and sandstorms.
The region's connection to Li Bai makes it a key location for players pursuing the Li Bai Flow Style storyline. Quests related to Li Bai's origins and the history of his swordsmanship are tied to locations within Alsahraa, giving players narrative motivation to explore the desert thoroughly.
Alsahraa (阿尔萨赖) is referenced in Honor of Kings: World as a planned future region. Tencent has confirmed the continent layout includes this zone, but it is NOT yet playable as of the S0 Season launch (April 10, 2026).
Alsahraa is a vast desert region on the Primaera continent whose canonical lore is tied to MOBA heroes like Li Bai, Haya, and the scholar-city Madinat Erudit. None of the heroes native to Alsahraa are in the S0 Season launch roster, and the desert is not one of the explorable regions at launch.
