System Requirements
September 21, 2026 at 01:31 AM
Replaced the stale PC requirements with the revised September 2026 tiers (13th generation Intel, 6 and 8 GB, GTX 1650 and RTX 3060, 4 GB storage), rewrote the processor, graphics and storage analysis, added the demo row and the last-generation console listings
System requirements for Graveyard Keeper 2 on PC are published on the Steam storefront. Both a minimum and a recommended tier are listed, the only PC-specific data the developer has confirmed before launch. Console specifications are not configurable and are not detailed by Lazy Bear Games or tinyBuild. See Platforms and Release for the full SKU list.
The Steam listing shows two tiers, and both were revised in September 2026. Until mid-month the page named decade-old hardware: an Intel Core i3-4160 or AMD FX-8320 with 4 GB of memory and a GeForce GT 640 at minimum, an i5-4670K or FX-8350 with 8 GB and a GeForce GTX 660 at recommended, and 2 GB of storage at both tiers. By 21 September 2026 that listing had been replaced with the tiers below, which ask for a 13th generation Intel processor, more memory, a much newer graphics card and double the storage. No resolution or frame rate target is attached to either tier.
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
Operating System | Windows 10 x64 or higher, 64-bit processor required | Windows 10 x64 or higher, 64-bit processor required |
Processor | Intel Core i3 (13th generation) or similar | Intel Core i5 (13th generation) or similar |
Memory | 6 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
Graphics | GeForce GTX 1650 or similar | GeForce RTX 3060 or similar |
DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Storage | 4 GB available space | 4 GB available space |
Both tiers name a single Intel processor and a single Nvidia card, each followed by the words or similar, so the listing gives a performance class rather than an exhaustive parts list. No AMD processor, AMD graphics card or integrated graphics option is named on the revised page. The jump from a two-core 2014 chip to a 13th generation Core i3 at minimum is the largest change between the two versions of the listing.
The storefront names one card per tier: the GeForce GTX 1650 at minimum and the GeForce RTX 3060 at recommended, each qualified with or similar. No VRAM figure, resolution or frame rate target is given for either. Both tiers list DirectX 12. The display interface and any handheld verification tier are not published; no compatibility rating for Valve's handheld appeared on the store page as of 21 September 2026.
Both tiers list 4 GB of available space, doubled from the 2 GB the page showed until mid-September 2026. The console packages published in the Xbox catalogue are about 2.05 and 2.11 gigabytes, so the PC figure reads as free space with headroom rather than the size of the download. The figure is the storefront's pre-install minimum and may grow with patches, optional language packs or post-launch content.
Eleven languages are listed for launch on the Steam storefront, with interface, full audio and subtitle support broken out separately. All eleven cover interface text and subtitles. English is the only language marked for full audio, so the remaining ten are text-only at launch.
Group | Languages |
|---|---|
European | English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Turkish |
Iberian and Brazilian | Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil) |
East Asian | Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese |
The console catalogue publishes package sizes the PC storefront does not. They sit below the 4 gigabyte free-space figure on the PC listing.
Package | Size |
|---|---|
Base game, console package one | About 2.05 gigabytes |
Base game, console package two | About 2.11 gigabytes |
Pre-order bonus add-on | About 10.6 megabytes |
Both console packages are listed against the same product, which is the usual shape for a title that ships separate builds for different console models. Storefront sizes are pre-install minimums and can grow with a day-one patch.
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 are all confirmed, and the PlayStation and Xbox storefronts also list PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in their platform fields; the storefront detail is on Platforms and Release. Console requirements are not configurable. The original Switch SKU is the most constrained target of the announced consoles, and it sets the practical lower bound for how heavy the simulation can scale before a port has to compromise.
Switch-to-Switch 2 upgrade pricing has not been disclosed. Both Switch SKUs are listed as separate releases at announcement, and no statement has been made about a free or paid upgrade path between them. Cross-buy or save-transfer between any of the platforms is also unconfirmed.
The game's fact sheet names Unreal Engine 5 as the engine. Even after the September 2026 revision the minimum and recommended tiers sit at the modest end for that engine, which fits the studio's description of a stylised 3D world rather than a photoreal one. The visual feature set is covered on the Art and Visual Design page.

Checked on 21 September 2026 against the live PC store page, the console catalogue entries and the official site, the following are still undisclosed.
Handheld compatibility verification for Valve's device. No rating is published.
Save transfer between PC and consoles. Cloud saves are declared on the PC listing, but no cross-platform transfer is described.
The achievement and trophy lists. Achievement support is declared on both the PC and Xbox listings; PlayStation trophy support is not stated.
An upgrade or migration path between the Switch and Switch 2 versions.
Internal frame rate caps and resolution targets on each console.
Native Linux or macOS builds. Neither is on any announced lineup.
Day-one patch size and contents.
These will be filled in as Lazy Bear Games and tinyBuild publish more storefront detail. For now, treat the recommended row above as the highest spec the developer has committed to publicly.
