Graveyard Keeper 2 shipped as a single edition on 22 September 2026. There is no deluxe tier, no season pass and no content split between versions. Before launch the price differed by storefront; the day after launch every storefront read listed it at 24.99 US dollars. The pre-order bonus, which the studio said differs by platform, is covered below along with how to claim it.
One Edition
There is no edition split anywhere in the published storefront data. The PC listing carries one package group containing one package. The console side has one base product, one pre-order bundle that pairs that base product with a free bonus add-on, and nothing else. The bonus add-on is priced at zero and is not a paid expansion.

The console product group is filed internally under the name Graveyard Keeper 2: Zombie Capitalism, which matches the phrase the developers use for the settlement's new era. It is a catalogue identifier rather than a subtitle on the box.

The game is not included in any subscription catalogue. The Xbox product entry lists no pass that includes it; a qualifying membership only allows cloud play of a purchased copy. The PC storefront also sells a bundle that pairs the sequel with the original Graveyard Keeper, which is a storefront bundle rather than a separate edition.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Two items were attached to a pre-order. Both console storefronts described them in near identical wording.

The PlayStation listing added the most colourful phrasing of the two: take a break from fighting hordes of zombies with a session in your very own sauna, then slip into an exclusive outfit and show the locals who the true village dandy is.
The studio said the outfit a player receives depends on the platform they pre-ordered on. No storefront text names the variants, but the pre-order artwork the studio posted on 26 August shows four versions of the tunic above four platform icons: a lighter blue over PlayStation, green over Xbox, a darker blue over Steam and red over Nintendo Switch. The same artwork shows the sauna as a thatched wooden building with a stone stove and a wooden bathtub inside.
Claiming the Bonuses
After launch the developer explained where each bonus appears in the game. Neither is available from the very start.

A hotfix released on the evening of launch day fixed an issue that, in some cases, prevented the pre-order content from appearing in existing save files. Current problems are listed on Known Issues and Patch Notes.
On consoles the pre-order add-on may not install automatically, which the publisher's support centre says is common on PlayStation; its advice is to make sure the add-on is downloaded and installed, then re-import the demo save and launch it again. The publisher also says it cannot grant pre-order bonuses on request, because they were only available to players who pre-ordered through official storefronts before launch. Update 1.009 on PC and 1.009.1 on PlayStation and Xbox fixed the sauna's buff permanently reducing the energy that food restores after it ended, and corrected existing saves, and update 1.010 on PC made items carried overhead hide while the sauna is in use.

Pre-orders opened on 26 August 2026, the same day the release date was announced, and closed at launch on 22 September 2026.
The PlayStation listing stated that pre-ordering took immediate payment.
The PC listing ran its discount as a pre-purchase promotion that ended on release day.
The bonus pack on the console side is a separate free add-on entry rather than an unlock baked into the base product. The Xbox pre-order bundle is no longer sold.
Free Demo
A free demo was released on 14 September 2026 on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 according to the studio. It covered the first three to four hours up to the introduction of The Town, and its save carries into the full game; on 23 September 2026 the known issues list said this did not work on Nintendo Switch, an entry it no longer carried on 13 October 2026. The publisher's press release said the demo would stay playable until 22 September, and the PC demo listing was gone the day after launch. Detail is on Platforms and Release.

The console catalogue publishes two package sizes for the base game, about 2.05 and 2.12 gigabytes (1.9 and 2.0 gibibytes), below the 4 gigabytes of available space the PC listing has asked for since mid-September 2026.
