Grave Seasons features a cast of named townsfolk who live and work in Ashenridge, part of a town populated by over 40 fully scheduled characters. Each named resident has a job, a personality, a home, and secrets. Because the killer is randomly chosen each playthrough, any of these residents could turn out to be the supernatural serial killer, and many can also be befriended or romanced. See Romance And Relationships and The Murder Mystery.
The Player Character
The player controls a customizable newcomer who arrives in Ashenridge after escaping from jail. The player can customize their character's appearance and choose their gender before settling into farming life and the investigation.
