Saturas

Saturas is the Arch Magician of Water and the head of the Water Mages inside the New Camp. He is one of the original twelve mages who raised the Barrier over the Valley of Mines.

A Barrier Creator on the Wrong Side of It

Saturas helped cast the ritual that went wrong and trapped everyone inside. He is now stuck in the colony he helped seal, and the New Camp's long-term project to break the Barrier is largely his attempt to undo his own mistake.

Deal With the New Camp

Saturas's presence is what justifies the New Camp's whole structure. He made a formal pact with Lee and Lares: the Mercenaries protect his mages, and the Rogues serve as his couriers, and in exchange the mages work full time on breaking the Barrier and freeing everyone.

Access

Saturas is not easy to meet. The Nameless Hero only gets an audience with him later in the campaign after working through the New Camp's hierarchy and obtaining a password that Water Mage Cronos provides.
