Ratford

Ratford is a hunter from the New Camp featured in the Nyras Prologue demo. He appears alongside Drax as one of the two New Camp hunters Nyras completes quests for before camping with them for the night.

Role in the Demo

Ratford is part of the demo's introduction to the game's side-quest loop: small, character-driven tasks that the working inhabitants of the Colony hand out as part of their day. The overnight camp scene with him and Drax is one of the few intentionally quiet moments in the demo, used to set the tone of life in the Valley between threats.
