Lares

Lares is the leader of the Rogues, the New Camp's courier and intelligence caste. He is a founding member of the camp alongside Lee and Saturas.

Role

Lares runs the part of the New Camp that moves things around. Rogues under his command serve as the Water Mages' couriers, smugglers, and scouts, and they handle the information flow between the camp and the outside world. Where Lee's Mercenaries handle direct security, Lares's Rogues handle everything softer than open force.

Relationship to the Hero

Lares is one of the first New Camp figures the Nameless Hero meets when pursuing the New Camp path. He functions as an initial gatekeeper to the camp's inner politics, and his trust is needed to progress toward the Water Circle proper.
