Its storefront listing carries exactly the same contents as the full Deluxe Edition. A physical disc edition is also sold, and in Japan it carries a recommended price of 8,980 yen including tax, the same as the digital Standard Edition. Owners of a disc copy receive several accessibility features, along with Photo Mode, through an update at launch rather than on the disc itself.

Suits are not purely cosmetic: Insomniac has stated that acquiring suits grants health upgrades, so the exclusive Deluxe suits sit inside a progression system rather than beside it. The exclusive designs are Deluxe-only, but suits and claws in general are obtainable in the base game through standard progression, so the edition buys designs rather than a mechanic.
