Revision 4

Diego is a veteran Old Camp scout and the first friendly NPC the Nameless Hero meets after being thrown through the Barrier. Alkimia Interactive has released a dedicated in-game character render for Diego as part of the remake's pre-release communication, and he also appears in the Nyras Prologue demo.

First Encounter

In the main game, Diego finds the Hero shortly after Bullit knocks him out at the landing zone. He explains the basics of life in the Colony, the three camps, and the dangers of the surrounding wilderness, then points the Hero toward the Old Camp to deliver his letter.

Role in the Demo

In the Nyras Prologue demo, Diego is already established at the Exchange Zone and is shown as the authority there. Sleeping without permission near his space triggers hostile Old Camp guards, a small set-piece that signals his standing within the camp.

Allegiance

Diego is a committed Old Camp Shadow, working in a scouting role outside the main castle. He is one of the few Old Camp members who treats the Hero straight from the start, which makes him a valuable contact regardless of which camp the Hero eventually joins.
