The Everywhen

Initial version (2026-06-03)
The Everywhen is the setting of God of War Laufey. The reveal describes it as the birthplace and endpoint to which all magic returns, a transcendent realm above the ones the series has visited before, and the afterlife of the gods.
In the Everywhen, gods and creatures from different mythologies come together, and not always in harmonious coexistence. Alongside Norse figures, the reveal showed deities drawn from other traditions, including the war goddess Sekhmet and the war god Begtse. See Gods of the Everywhen for the figures confirmed so far.
The realm is steeped in the oldest of magic, but its natural flow has been disrupted, and it is described as something that could be either a paradise or a prison. Because magic is amplified here, Faye finds her soul-related abilities far stronger than before.
