Xbox Play Anywhere means a single purchase through the Xbox Series X|S store or the Xbox on PC store grants access on both current Xbox platforms.
Game Pass and Subscriptions
The game is available day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with no pre-order required. Multiplayer is the one part that carries an extra requirement: at launch, multiplayer access requires a Game Pass Essential membership or higher. That applies to online campaign co-op, Horde Siege and Versus alike, and it is sold separately from the game.

Player Counts and Cross-Platform Play
Cross-platform multiplayer is supported, and optional account linking enables roaming saves, friends lists and cross-platform invites. Languages
The store listing records 22 supported languages. Eleven of them carry full audio: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish for Spain, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Latin American Spanish and Traditional Chinese.
